If you want someone who will eat whatever you put in front of him and never say it's not quite as good as his mother's...then get a dog.
If you want someone always willing to go out, at any hour, for as long and wherever you want ...then get a dog..

If you want someone who is content to get on your bed just to warm your feet and whom you can push off if he snores...then get a dog !
If you want someone who never criticizes what you do, doesn't care if you are pretty or ugly, fat or thin, young or old, who acts as if every word you say is especially worthy of listening to, and loves you
unconditionally, perpetually...then get a dog.
BUT, on the other hand, if you want someone who will never come when you call, ignores you totally when you come home, leaves hair all over the place, walks all over you, runs around all night and only comes home to eat and sleep, and acts as if your entire existence is solely to ensure his happiness...then get a cat!
You expected more from this book - sorry - sometimes you need to have a sense of humor!

Very Cute ... Now wouldn't it be great if you can mix some of the qualities we are all looking for and have that special relationship? It's really not that hard and it is not about marriage. Now that I am 60 years old I can honestly say finding the right companion is the way to go. A great friend, lover, who is fun to be with, enjoys life, can change light bulbs and it's ok if they don't like sports. Someone to travel with, be there for their ups and downs and one who cares for you just the way you are. I know he is out there. It is just all about the timing.
