TB – While not considered a STD, tuberculosis is becoming a problem in many third world countries as well as in the developed world the result of all the intercontinental flight between nations. Perhaps if our government and the politicians who run things had a collective brain, they wouldn't let anyone and everyone enter our country without some type of screening for communicable diseases. Figures: they don't want to look racist or as if they are profiling, to detriment of our collective health.

Most of you don't have to worry about getting TB while Internet dating unless you just so happen to go out with someone who contracted it in another country, is of low socioeconomic status, or who has exposure to many immigrants recently arriving to our country. You could even go out with that nice doctor who just happened to contract a serious illness like TB from one of his patients. There are reasons we want to eradicate diseases from our country and the world!

For those of you frequenting houses of ill repute – how quaint a term for such an advanced society as we find ourselves living in – you may have an encounter with a provider who has recently come to America from a third world nation where there was no testing when she arrived. She is now turning tricks in some place you happen to frequent and you can end up contracting a dangerous, hard to treat disease. If you find a provider coughing a lot, you may want to excuse yourself and go home. It could more likely be a common cold, but it could also be a serious illness. Granted this same thing can happen if you happen to be sitting next to a person with tuberculosis while taking a flight from some foreign country or even while riding the subway in NYC - yeaks!

Stay away from coughing people. Be safe! Tell your politicians you'd like them to implement things like quarantines for suspected cases of serious illnesses to prevent their spread like they used to do years ago. Tell them to deal with illegal immigration. Vote out all those fools who just don't get it!
